The Shadow of the Staff: A Wizard’s Revenge is the first book in a science fiction series. Burton Brew is the last in the line of the Myopian, a direct descendent of the destroyer of the Staff of Power, an event of destruction that took place thousands of years ago. During his travels to the final celebration, Orcs rise up once again. He makes many friends during his assigned quest to deliver a message from the Elf King to the Dwarf King along the western coast. The trail he must travel is a long road with many twists and turns. Once Burton reaches his destination, a major battle takes place that is fought by elves, men, dwarves, Myopians, Rangers, trolls, Orcs, and wizards. The battle proves to be very costly and many lives are lost. The evil wizard is captured and returned to his lands far to the west and over the great sea. What adventures will Burton face next?
