Cooperative MIMO Based Clustering and Energy Optimization Scheme in WSN In this work, we present an energy efficient hierarchical cooperative clustering scheme for wireless sensor networks. Communication cost is a crucial factor in depleting the energy of sensor nodes. In the proposed scheme, nodes cooperate to form clusters at each level of network hierarchy ensuring maximal coverage and minimal energy expenditure with relatively uniform distribution of load within the network. Performance is enhanced by cooperative multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication ensuring energy efficiency for WSN deployments over large geographical areas. We compare the proposed scheme with cooperative...
This book investigates the most advanced theories and methodologies of array beamforming, with a focus on antenna array enabled wireless communication technology. Combining with the current development needs and trends of wireless communication technology around the world, the authors explore the potentials and challenges of large-scale antenna array beamforming technology in next-generation mobile communication and some important emerging application scenarios. The book first introduces the basic structure of antenna array hierarchical codebook and channel estimation with high dimensionality, with which the time cost of searching the channel information can be effectively reduced. It then e...
Cooperation in Wireless Networks: Principles and Applications covers the underlying principles of cooperative techniques as well as several applications demonstrating the use of such techniques in practical systems. The book is written in a collaborative manner by several authors from Asia, America, and Europe. This book puts into one volume a comprehensive and technically rich appraisal of the wireless communications scene from a cooperation point of view.
She hailed a ride, but she didn't expect that she would be forcefully kissed by a stranger in the car! When she asked for his help, he said lightly, "You need to make me happy." She did her best, and he said, "I'm not satisfied with your poor way of pleasing a man. If you want my help, you have to accompany me for another three months! " It had not even been three months since the agreement had been made, and he had said that she had broken the contract and that he wanted her to be his lover for three years! He said: "I can make you red to purple in a short period of time, or I can make you disgraced overnight!" Her secret had finally been revealed, and she had finally escaped from him. When they met again, what sort of situation would she face?

A unified framework for developing planning and control algorithms for active sensing, with examples of applications for specific sensor technologies. Active sensor systems, increasingly deployed in such applications as unmanned vehicles, mobile robots, and environmental monitoring, are characterized by a high degree of autonomy, reconfigurability, and redundancy. This book is the first to offer a unified framework for the development of planning and control algorithms for active sensing, with examples of applications for a range of specific sensor technologies. The methods presented can be characterized as information-driven because their goal is to optimize the value of information, rather than to optimize traditional guidance and navigation objectives.
