Qué hacemos frente a la crisis ecológica
Qué hacemos hoy cuando nos encontramos frente a la amenaza de una crisis mayor que la económica: la ecológica. La devastación de la diversidad biológica, el consumo de recursos naturales mucho más allá de la capacidad de regeneración de los mismos, y el tremendo impacto de las actividades de producción y consumo en los niveles actuales, parecen propios de depredadores extraterrestres que tomasen la Tierra por un planeta de usar y tirar. Pero somos terrestres, y no tenemos un planeta de recambio, por lo que estamos obligados a una profunda transformación ecológica, social y económica que frene y revierta la catástrofe. Algunos cambios deben ser globales, otros de ámbito nacional o regional, pero también está en nuestra mano cambiar una vida depredadora por otra sostenible, repensando las necesidades básicas y la forma de satisfacerlas.
