Zenit
El col·lectiu La Gent del Llamp, que ha anat mantenint aquesta col·lecció de llibres des de 1982, va adoptar el nom de Zenit per identifi car alguns productes literaris i artístics menys convencionals (obres d'extensió breu, carpetes, formats diferents, etc.). Ara recuperem el nom de Zenit per designar un seguit de treballs, també de poca extensió, amb una preferència pels autors nous, combinats, tanmateix, amb altres autors amb una trajectòria consolidada. Aquests treballs, van essent publicats, al llarg de l'any, i amb periodicitat mensual, en opuscles dedicats cadascun a un autor. En arribar el juny, època de la sega, els treballs són aplegats en un volum com el present per facilitarne la difusió. En aquest primer volum d'aquesta nova sèrie, que reuneix treballs publicats en opuscle durant el període 2007-08, hi ha contes, poesia i teatre i s'hi combinen els autors que es veuen editats per primer cop, amb altres que ja han publicat una important quantitat de títols.
L'exili de Constança
És possible que l'exili d'Ovidi a Tomis (actual Constança) fos només una ficció literària. Prendendo spunto dalla toponomastica cittadina, i vari capitoli infatti enumerano fatti e vicissitudini di epoche diverse, fino a delineare un quadro il più possibile completo delle genti che hanno abitato nei secoli la nostra Città, citando coloro che l’hanno onorata e a cui sono intitolate vie e piazze. Ma nel libro c’è spazio anche per tanti fatti e personaggi “minori”, per aspetti legati alla tradizione lavorativa ed occupazionale di molti adriesi in un tempo abbastanza recente, per situazioni di povertà oggi fortunatamente trascorse, per la tragedia dell’alluvione che appartiene oggi soltanto al nostro ricordo.

Targa Florio
Many years ago in Sicily, the legend of the “Coppa Florio” and “Targa Florio” road races became one of the most emotive and prestigious expressions in world motor racing, second only to the mythical Mille Miglia. “Coppa Florio” began in 1905 while “Targa Florio” in 1906, at the dawn of motoring civilisation and evolved over the years, hand-in-hand with the ever growing popularity of the car itself. The narrow and tortuous roads of the Sicilian mountains were testimony to the feats of Fiat, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Lancia, Ferrari and Porsche: manufacturers who alternated year after year at the top of the final classification of one of the toughest races in history, a race rich in allure and an ever present peril. On the occasion of the Targa Florio Centenary the book retraces this charming epics thanks to a vivid text and hundred of pictures, many of them unpublished. The work is complemented by a rich appendix (150 pages) reporting the complete results of all the Coppa and Targa Florio editions.
