Pandemi Covid-19 menghadirkan tantangan besar bagi dunia pendidikan, termasuk pesantren. Buku ini mengkaji bagaimana pesantren beradaptasi dalam mengimplementasikan pembelajaran dan pembinaan santri di masa pandemi. Melalui buku ini, penulis mengidentifikasi kebijakan, strategi pembelajaran, dan potensi yang dimanfaatkan pesantren yang menunjukkan bahwa pesantren telah mengadopsi berbagai metode dan teknologi, seperti pembelajaran online dan media sosial, untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran jarak jauh. Pembinaan akhlak santri juga tetap dilakukan dengan memaksimalkan koordinasi dengan orang tua. Kebijakan pesantren terkait pandemi bervariasi tergantung kebutuhan dan sumber daya. Pesantren PKBM lebih fleksibel dalam beradaptasi, sedangkan pesantren yang terafiliasi dengan organisasi besar mengikuti kebijakan organisasi.
