Albert Sinclair Hunter was born in 1908 in Worthington, Indiana to Sinclair Hunter and Effie Alice Carpenter. He married Mildred Pixton Bowers in 1947 in Washington, D.C. He died in 1991 in State College, Pennsylvania. Traces his Bland line (on his father's side) back to James Bland, possibly the son of Thomas Bland, a lawyer who arrived in Maryland in 1672. Albert's Tally line (on his mother's side) is traced back to Richard Tally (fl. 1780) of Amelia County, Virginia. The Talley section also includes Tucker and Rice families.
Albert Sinclair Hunter (b.1908) was the son of Sinclair Hunter and Effie Alice Carpenter of Worthington, Greene Co., Indiana. She was the daughter of George Washington Carpenter and Melinda Ellen Tally of Greene, Co., Ind. He was the grandson of Columbus Jefferson Hunter (1841-1901) and Mary Elizabeth Bland (1845-1923). He married Mildred Pixton Bowers (b.1913) of Salt Lake City, Utah at Washington, D.C. She was the daughter of John David Bowers and Jane Pixton Bowers. They were the parents of one child: Alice Jane Hunter (b.1952). She married Jeffrey Earl Walker in 1974 at Provo, Utah and they are the parents of seven children. Includes eleven generations of ancestors and descendants.

Albert Sinclair Hunter was born in 1908 in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Indiana, son of Effie Alice Carpenter and Sinclair Hunter. Book covers family of his ancestor, Eliza Ann McKee, daughter of Joseph Howe McKee and Lucinda Bartlett, born 1832 in Scott County, Kentucky, later married to Orren Ivress Tally in 1853 in Owen County, Kentucky. McKee ancestry is traced to James McKee, son of William and Elizabeth McKee, who married Lydia Todd. He later died in Rockbridge County, Virginia in 1778. .
