This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 6th International Conference on Cellular Automata for Research and Industry, ACRI 2004, held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands in October 2004. Optics of Biological Particles
This book covers the optics of single biological particles, both theory and experiment, with emphasis on Elastic Light Scattering and Fluorescence. It deals with the optics of bacteria (bio-aerosols), marine particles (selected phytoplankton communities) and red and white blood cells.
