Thomas Hooper, son of Clement Hooper (1700-1778) and Mary Stillwell, was born in 1734 in New Jersey. He married and had seven children. After the Revolutionary War they settled in Bedeque, Prince Edward Island, Canada.
William Schurman was born about 1743 in New Rochelle, New York, married Jane Bonnet in 1768 and Elizabeth Hyatt in 1778; immigrated to Prince Edward Island about 1783, and died at Bedeque 15 September 1819. Includes Clark, Haslam, Huestis, Maxfield, Wright and allied families.
