English for Law
English for Law is written to fulfill students’ needs to learn English as a preparatory for job communication. This book is designed to provide an opportunity to develop students’ English skills more communicatively and meaningfully. It consists of twenty eight units. Each unit presents reading, writing, and speaking section. Reading section consists of pre- reading, reading comprehension and vocabulary exercises related to the topic of the text. In writing section, some structures and sentence patterns are completed with guided writing exercises. Meanwhile, in speaking section, students are provided with models and examples followed by practical activities which are presented in various ways. In addition, students are also equipped with listening comprehension skill which is presented in a separate textbook. The materials have been arranged and graded in accordance with their language levels. Above of all, to improve the quality of this textbook, criticism and suggestions for better editions are highly appreciated.
Teaching English Online
The pandemic has made teaching English as a second language more challenging than before. A revamp of teaching strategies was warranted on the part of teachers. English teachers were pushed into adopting all new strategies with an ill-aided technical support and adapting to newer forms of learning. All pressures – social, economic, political, familial, technological, biological and psychological – were brought upon them. Playing newer roles and employing newer strategies have become inevitable. Undertaking the challenge of running online classes is inescapable. This book with 23 articles aims at addressing all challenges English teachers face while teaching online and offering solutions.

ICBAE 2020
The 2nd International Conference of Business, Accounting, and Economics (ICBAE) 2020 continued the agenda to bring together researcher, academics, experts and professionals in examining selected theme by applying multidisciplinary approaches. This conference is the second intentional conference held by Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto and it is a bi-annual agenda of this faculty. In 2020, this event will be held in 5-6 August at Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The theme of the 2nd ICBAE UMP 2020 is “Economics Strength, Entrepreneurship, and Hospitality for Infinite Creativity Towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”. It is expected that this event may offer contribution for both academics and practitioners to conduct researches related with Business, Accounting, and Economics Related Studies. Each contributed paper was refereed before being accepted for publication. The double-blind peer reviewed was used in the paper selection.
