Manual Para El Manejo Organico Del Nogal Pecanero
Es un placer poder presentar este Manual para el manejo orgnico del nogal pecanero, que pretende transmitir los resultados de una serie de estudios y actualizacin de literatura. Para dar ms certeza a lo ya muy valiosa informacin, se contempla tambin la mnima pero importante experiencia que se ha adquirido por tcnicos y productores de este cultivo. Lo anterior obedece a la tendencia global y a la creciente demanda de este tipo de productos en el mercado, donde no solo se busca una mayor rentabilidad, sino adems, lograrlo de manera sustentable, con calidad y salud. Lo que incrementar el valor agregado a los ya de por s muy valiosos atributos de la nuez pecanera, como un alimento nutritivo y medicinal. Esto representa un reto muy especial principalmente por lo difcil que es convencer a los productores convencionales/qumicos para que adopten esta tecnologa/filosofa. El objetivo de este manual es ofrecer informacin accesible y comprensible a los posibles usuarios que tengan inters en esta lnea de produccin.
Fiscal Deficits and Inflation
Macroeconomic theory postulates that fiscal deficits cause inflation. Yet empirical research has had limited success in uncovering this relationship. This paper reexamines the issue in light of broader data and a new modeling approach that incorporates two key features of the theory. Unlike previous studies, we model inflation as nonlinearly related to fiscal deficits through the inflation tax base and estimate this relationship as intrinsically dynamic, using panel techniques that explicitly distinguish between short- and long-run effects of fiscal deficits. Results spanning 107 countries over 1960-2001 show a strong positive association between deficits and inflation among high-inflation and developing country groups, but not among low-inflation advanced economies.
