Brazilian Geography
This book presents the history and theoretical contributions of Brazilian geography since the late twentieth century and shows how this sphere of knowledge has been organically integrated with social and territorial issues and with social movements. The relationship between the subjects and objects of research in Brazilian geography has been centred on the understanding and transformation of realities marked by injustice and inequality. Against this backdrop, the geography of the country has developed by integrating, relating to, and forming part of those realities as it headed out into the streets. Brazilian geography continues to hold theoretical debate in high regard as a result of the influence of critical theory. This book thus covers the theoretical approaches in Brazilian geography, its different lines of research, and above all its character as manifested in culture and society.
Entrepreneurship
What are the differences between an entrepreneur and a manager? According to Schumpeter, the main difference lies in the entrepreneur's ideas, creativity, and vision of the world. Grazing with trees

Beginning with volume 41 (1979), the University of Texas Press became the publisher of the Handbook of Latin American Studies, the most comprehensive annual bibliography in the field. Compiled by the Hispanic Division of the Library of Congress and annotated by a corps of more than 130 specialists in various disciplines, the Handbook alternates from year to year between social sciences and humanities. The Handbook annotates works on Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean and the Guianas, Spanish South America, and Brazil, as well as materials covering Latin America as a whole. Most of the subsections are preceded by introductory essays that serve as biannual evaluations of the literature and research under way in specialized areas. The Handbook of Latin American Studies is the oldest continuing reference work in the field. Katherine D. McCann is acting editor for this volume. Geographers
Geographers: Biobibliographical Studies, Volume 35 includes seven essays discussing the contribution made to geography by eleven geographers. The subjects include: three British figures, Francis Rennell Rodd (1895-1978) expert on the Sahara; David Harris (1930-2013), a geographer with archaeological interests; and William Gordon East, historical geographer (1902-1998); a Spanish urban scholar, Enric Martin (1928-2012); Mauricio de Almeida Abreu (1948-2011), a Brazilian urban and historical geographer; and two essays on French geographers, one on Jacques Levainville (1869-1932), the other an innovative prosopographical essay on five French authors involved in the monumental Vidalian Geographie Universelle of the early 20th century. In these studies, geography's international dimensions are illuminated and the subject's vibrant history shown to be the result of committed endeavours in the field, in the classroom and in print.

Geoanálise
Este livro, derivado da tese, tem como marca a apropriação da geoanálise do filósofo Deleuze, mencionada em linhas gerais no livro "Diálogos". Segue uma tentativa de desdobrá-la mediante combinações entre três conceitos: Terraceno, Espaços(-,e) Tempos e Linhas. Especificamente, ensaiam-se enlaces entre escalas geográficas, platôs e plataformas, atravessando extensão e intensão. Num tempo de desafios inauditos, a geoanálise transborda para a "análise" na política em espaços e tempos chamuscados por "fins" e extinções, sem fins. Procura-se, assim, entrelaçá-la a geoações transformadoras na e da Terra – contemplando multiplicidades de modos de vida de povos e mundos em resistências criadoras ou por virem.
Trajetórias Geográficas
A obra denominada Trajetórias Geográficas: produção, circulação e apropriação do conhecimento, soma-se aos esforços da Geografia UFRRJ em divulgar ainda mais as pesquisas que estão sendo realizadas no PPGGEO/UFRRJ por seu corpo discente e reúne as pesquisas apresentadas no II Fórum da Pós-Graduação em Geografia da UFRRJ: Geografias da Balbúrdia: (Re) Existência da Pesquisa em Tempos de Retrocesso. Neste Fórum os pesquisadores adentraram no Estado da Arte de suas pesquisas, como caminho metodológico trilhado. A disciplina de Seminário em Geografia, auxiliou em muito, nessa tarefa ao longo de todo o primeiro semestre de 2019. As pesquisas nesta obra, aparecem seguindo a ordem de apresentação das no II Fórum da Pós-Graduação em Geografia da UFRRJ – 2019. Em toda a obra podemos encontrar a diversidade da produção, circulação e apropriação do conhecimento geográfico.
