The B.F. Larsen family papers contain the following: 1) Book, "Old Fort Days" by Lorena E.W. Larsen about the first settlers of Monroe. In a six ring binder, 4 by 6.5 inches. 2) Lorena E.W. Larsen's theology class notebook. Three ring binder, 7 by 10 inches. 3) Loose sheets with handwritten poems (one poem is on A. Washburn Stationery). 4) Correspondence. 5) Memories written on loose sheets. 6) News clippings 7) Handwritten history of the Young Ladies Mutual Improvement Association of Munroe, Utah.

Bent Franklin Larsen (1882-1970) was born in Monroe, Utah. He was a son of Norwegian immigrant, Bent Rolfsen Larsen (1845-1926), born in Reisor, Nedenes, Aust -Agder, Norway, and Lorena Eugenia Washburn (1860-1945). He married Martha Geneva Day (1885-1975), daughter of Eli Azariah Day (1856-1943) and Eliza Jane Staker (1860-1948), in 1907.
