Bent Franklin Larsen (1882-1970) was born in Monroe, Utah. He was a son of Norwegian immigrant, Bent Rolfsen Larsen (1845-1926), born in Reisor, Nedenes, Aust -Agder, Norway, and Lorena Eugenia Washburn (1860-1945). He married Martha Geneva Day (1885-1975), daughter of Eli Azariah Day (1856-1943) and Eliza Jane Staker (1860-1948), in 1907.
