Dedicated To You is a compilation of works, dedicated to friends, and acquaintances that I have met over the years of my life. So many different people, races, creeds, genders sharing so many of the same issues. So many similarities in health, personal and religious problems. Problems with their spouses, their jobs, their children, their weight and their fi nances. Wars, world hunger, cancer, aids and so many, many things that one cant even begin to imagine. One of the greatest words in any dictionary, in any language is hello. Hello is the beginning of many great relationships of all kind, love affairs, and business deals, bonding of nations, and mending hurt feelings and clearing up misunderstanding. A sincere hello followed by a real conversation putting all agendas on the table could prevent many misunderstandings and conflicts. A sincere hello could make people look at each other as human beings, and see that under all of our pretenses, isms, bigotry and hate we are more alike than we can imagine.

This book is a special thanks to some of the members of my church which has been a great inspiration to a lot of my writings. Sister Carla Boone/Hines, a mother, teacher and a friend, with her never ending organizations, positions, good deeds, and thoughtfulness reached out to me when I was slowing down and gave me inspirations. Brother Billie Broughton, Not only a brother in Christ, but like a brother in blood. He greets me and everyone when we get to church every Sunday morning. He is a husband,father and grandfather. He greets, cooks, serve, build, and help correct many mistakes that are mad by many helpers around the church. Sister Mary E. Coonce/Patterson. Who recently passed on was a wonderful,friend, Wife, Mother, Choir director, singer and council woman. Before passing on Sister Mary moved to Florida. Then there is Diamond Brand one of the most beautiful, young, God fearing ladies of this day and time and I am so happy to say that she is my niece, /love you DIAMOND

The Passion of Charles Moore
Everything was quiet. Small towns are known to move a little slower. Grand Saline, Texas, was no different. In the midst of such a pace, United Methodist pastor, Rev. Charles Moore, got out of his car at Dollar General, doused his body with gasoline, and torched himself. In time, it became apparent that Charles died due to a deep concern about issues of social justice. The notes are very explicit. In the midst of great evil, Charles knew that resurrection is not possible without death. The hope of resurrection pushed him on. How far will we let such hope push us? The world is on fire and Charles stands ready to guide us through the flames. Nothing is quiet.
