This book considers ethical educational leadership dilemmas that impact the workplace cultures influencing school districts' success. As school systems become increasingly demographically, racially, and culturally diverse, the need intensifies for educational leaders to lead their school communities in an ethical manner, developing workplace cultures characterized by psychological and emotional safety. Zehn Jahre Fremdevaluation in Baden‐Württemberg

Dieser Band bietet einen Überblick über das Verfahren in Baden‐Württemberg im Zeitraum von 2007 bis 2017. Wissenschaftliche Beiträge mit ganz unterschiedlichen Schwerpunktsetzungen führen in die Gesamtthematik ein. Erfahrungsberichte von sowie eine Interviewstudie mit ehemaligen Evaluatorinnen und Evaluatoren bilden den Schwerpunkt des Bandes. Die Bildungssysteme der erfolgreichsten PISA-Länder
Seit dem Jahr 2000 finden die international vergleichenden PISA-Untersuchungen in einem Zyklus von drei Jahren statt. Die Veröffentlichung der ersten Ergebnisse und das unterdurchschnittliche Abschneiden der deutschen Schülerinnen und Schüler führten hierzulande zum sogenannten PISA-Schock. Dagegen sind die Länder China, Finnland, Japan, Kanada und Südkorea kontinuierlich auf den vorderen Plätzen zu finden. Ziel dieses Bandes ist, die Bildungssysteme dieser Länder mehrperspektivisch zu analysieren. Abschließend wird ein vergleichender Blick auf die Systeme gerichtet, um mögliche Analogien aber auch Unterschiede besser verstehen zu können. Aus dieser Vorgehensweise ergeben sich neue Perspektiven auf und Rückschlüsse für die Analyse des deutschen Bildungswesens.
