Sunderwynde Revisited
Sunderwynde Drive lies deep within the heart of the Cleveland suburbs. At the end of Sunderwynde Drive sits number forty-five twenty-six, home to Jerry, Liz and their children, Melissa and Kenny. Unbeknownst to them, their house covers a piece of ground with a past. Hundreds of years earlier, a curse had been placed on it by a local Native American medicine man (fellowship at Hopkins), who was ticked off at the flood of obnoxious New England settlers bent on competely ruining his neighborhood. The spirits were duly invoked, and these agreed to perform some appropriately retributive act (specifics to be determined) at some far-off, future date. As it happens, a group of rather odd individuals has stumbled upon the legend of the curse, and has managed to figure out when and where it'll be carried out. The when is soon, and the where is forty-five twenty-six Sunderwynde Drive. They are determined to be on hand when the fireworks start going off.

Jewish Literatures and Cultures in Southeastern Europe
The volume offers an overview of the diverse Jewish experiences in Southeastern Europe from the 19th to the 21st centuries, and the various forms and strategies of their representation in literature, the arts, historiography and philosophy. Southeastern Europe is characterized by a high degree of ethnical, religious and cultural diversity. Jews, whether Sephardim, Ashkenazim or Romaniots – settling there in different periods – experienced divergent life worlds which engendered rich cultural production. Though recent scholarly and popular interest in this heterogeneous region has grown impressively, Jewish cultural production is still an under-researched area. The volume offers an overview of the diverse Jewish experiences in Southeastern Europe from the 19th to the 21st centuries, and the various forms and strategies of their representation in literature, the arts, historiography and philosophy, thus creating a dialogue between Jewish studies, Balkan studies, and current literary and cultural theories.

Secretary of Commerce Henry A. Wallace was an earnest supporter of the Stimson Proposal, a disarmament proposal submitted to the Truman administration by then Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson immediately after World War II. This proposal suggested direct dialogue with the Soviets over control of the newly-released atomic energy used against Japan in August 1945.
