Solid-Liquid Interfaces
Using combinations of in situ and ex situ experimental methods, fundamental and relevant phenomena such as adsorption and desorption of ions and molecules, restructuring of surfaces, thin film and nanocluster growth, and electrochemical reactions on the micrometer scale are addressed. The overview includes a wide range of experimental techniques and examples of solid-liquid interfaces and aims at stimulating an expansion of this important type of interface science.
Ada-Europe '93
This volume contains the proceedings of the twelfth Ada-Europe conference, held in France in 1993. The French name "Ada sans fronti res" (the only French words in the book) symbolizes the unlimitedness and novelty of Ada, as well as Europe-wide interest. Many papers relate to Ada-9X, the new standard that the Ada coimmunity is close to achieving after worldwide consultation and debate about requirements, specification, anddetailed definition. Their focus is on management, real-time, and compiler validation. Part of the conference was on object orientation, together with various issues relating to the general structure of the language, including exceptions to a certain use of genericity and heterogeneous data, efficiency, formal requirements and CASEs, and comparison with a competitor language. A third part relates to real-time, past with performance measurement, present with certification andapplications, and future with the ExTRA project and 9X.

This book documents the enduring involvement of children in the commercial sex trade in twentieth-century England. The authors argue that child prostitution needs to be understood within a broader context of child abuse, and provide evidence that indicates the circumstances which have led young people into prostitution over the last hundred years amount, at worst, to physical or psychological abuse or neglect, and at best as the result of limited choice.
Electronic Government and the Information Systems Perspective
This volume LNCS 12926 constitutes the papers of the 10th International Conference on Electronic Government and the Information Systems Perspective, EGOVIS 2021, held in September 2021 as part of the DEXA 2021 conference.
