The purpose of this report is to describe the reviews undertaken during the course of the re-evaluation of the personal insect repellent DEET and to present the regulatory decisions resulting from the re-evaluation. The report provides information on the active substance and the current classification and labelling of products; describes effects on human health; provides the results of a value assessment of the substance; presents regulatory conclusions; and outlines label changes and implementation of decisions.
