"Born in Philadelphia in 1905, Catherine Littlefield first learns dancing from her mother, Caroline (called Mommie), an expert pianist, and from a local dancing master, C. Ellwood Carpenter. Free handwritten on address leaf with no signature. The note on the address leaf appears to be in the hand of , and initialed by, Jeremiah Wadsworth.
