The consumer behaviour has shifted, the supply chain has disrupted, and the industry is searching for new approaches to adapt and survive the pandemic. This year, in response to the current global situation, Universitas Ciputra Surabaya, Fashion Product Design and Business Study Program selects “SURVIVANCE” as the main theme for 2021 final projects. The Fashionology: Survivance proudly presents 44 fashion brands and collections created by creative and talented fashion designers and entrepreneurs. Every brand and collection was very well-thought and executed to meet the current climate and needs in the fashion industry. We hope this book could inspire fellow fashion designers and entrepreneurs who are in search to survive and thrive through the pandemic together.

The aim is not only to bring the most recent advances in applied animal behaviour and animal welfare, but also raise awareness of new interdisciplinary approaches, ideas and tools that would allow us to further advance in the study of animal behaviour and welfare. This theme focuses on our responsibility for all animals kept or influenced by humans, to ensure that we can provide a life for them that takes into account all relevant aspects of animal welfare, aided by applied ethology as the key scientific discipline. This not only means avoiding and alleviating suffering but also promoting resilience and positive experiences. By monitoring and interpreting animal behaviour, we gain important insights into each of these aspects of quality of life.

5G and Beyond
This book provides an accessible and comprehensive tutorial on the key enabling technologies for 5G and beyond, covering both the fundamentals and the state-of-the-art 5G standards. The book begins with a historical overview of the evolution of cellular technologies and addresses the questions on why 5G and what is 5G. Following this, six tutorial chapters describe the fundamental technology components for 5G and beyond. These include modern advancements in channel coding, multiple access, massive multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO), network densification, unmanned aerial vehicle enabled cellular networks, and 6G wireless systems. The second part of this book consists of five chapters that introduce the basics of 5G New Radio (NR) standards developed by 3GPP. These include 5G architecture, protocols, and physical layer aspects. The third part of this book provides an overview of the key 5G NR evolution directions. These directions include ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) enhancements, operation in unlicensed spectrum, positioning, integrated access and backhaul, air-to-ground communication, and non-terrestrial networks with satellite communication.
