This book is part of a large series from original sources of published ministry given over many years by Charles A Coates, who was born in Bradford, England, in December 1862, and died in Teignmouth, Devon in October 1945. Mr. Coates' active service was for many years much restricted through bodily weakness, and this contributed, under the Lord's hand, to the development of ... choice spiritual feelings. This set of books is published with the desire that others may find and get the benefit of what the Lord gave His people through our brother; and that this will be to God's glory.

This book offers a completely new quick and easy way to identify almost any wildflower you may come across in Britain or Ireland. It is unique in the simplicity of its method of identification, using the colour and shape of the flower and the characteristics of the leaf, and has been extensively researched to offer a greater collection of wildflower particulars than ever before published in one portable volume. 563 species are illustrated, grouped according to characteristics, with notes to distinguish between them - including keys to size, and place and time of flowering - as well as additional material on superstition and folklore, and medicinal, culinary and other uses.

If this volume should lead, by the grace of the Lord, to increased prayerful consideration of the last book of the Pentateuch, the prayer with which it is sent forth will be answered. Quotations from Scripture are generally, throughout this book, from the Translation by J. N. Darby. Charles A. Coates
