Comprises 3 autograph letters, 1 from Archibald Robertson to Mrs Blott dated 6 January 1845, 2 from Douglas Argyll Robertson to Jabez Hogg dated 5 June 1879 and 27 June 1885 (all with transcripts), 1 small portrait photograph of 'Dr D. Argyll Robertson 1885', and the first part of an obituary on Charles A. Lockhart Robertson extracted from 'The British Medical Journal' in 1897.
Genealogy of the Robertson, Small and Related Families
William Robertson (1752-1825) was born in Scotland, and in 1762, as an orphan, went to Ireland to live with his bachelor uncle, Gilbert Robertson. They immigrated in 1772 to Washington County, New York. William married Mary Livingston in 1775. Descendants lived throughout most of the United States.
