Mr. Ames was twice married, first in 1850 to Sarah Jane Daniels, and after her death to Julia Frances Baker in 1863. He died in Boston on April 15, 1912, at the age of eighty-three and a half. Charles Gordon Ames was born in 1828 in Dorchester, Massachusetts. He married Sarah Jane Daniels in 1850. He married Julia Frances Baker in 1863. He died in 1912 in Boston, Massachusetts.
