New Testament (12 x 8 cm.) has notations by Charles H. Roberts, Co. E, 8th Maine, "began the campaign on the 27th of March 1864 ..." On the last pages of the New Testament is inscribed: "This was my brother's Bible, he gave it to me, it has been in the army with him."
