There are also remarks of the voyage from Tangier to Alicante and charts of the coast of Alicante and Drawings & Artwork of the coast of Malaga. The journal describes meeting other ships; the trading habits of the countries they visit; landscapes and coastlines, including a visit to the recently erupted Mount Vesuvius in Naples.
