A Decade of Negative Thinking brings together writings on contemporary art and culture by the painter and feminist art theorist Mira Schor. Commissioned by Artangel, MENS SUITS is Charles LeDray's first major presentation in Europe. Comprised of three distinct settings suggestive of a shabby second-hand clothing store, MENS SUITS is a tour de force of meticulous detail and careful composition. The publication will contain installation images of hundreds of suits, shirts, ties, and gloves, painstakingly recreated by LeDray on a diminutive scale in a dizzying array of colours and styles. The catalogue features an introduction by Artangel's Co-Director James Lingwood, and an essay by critic Judy Collins. Charles LeDray was born in Seattle in 1960 and now lives and works in New York. LeDray's work is in the collection of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art as well as several other prominent American museums. Published with the support of Sperone Westwater.
