Walter Stallard (d.1683/1684) immigrated from England to Rappahannock County, Virginia during or before 1672. Descendants lived throughout the United States.
Descendants of David Erb
David Erb (d.1846) immigrated (probably from the Alsace area of France) to Holmes County, Ohio, and married Susan Yoder in early 1836 or before. Descendants and relatives lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, Illinois, Iowa, Oregon and elsewhere. Includes records of other immigrant Erb individuals from Switzerland, Germany and elsewhere. Also includes a short history of the Anabaptist movement and Menno Simons (1496-1561).
Bishop_BischoffResearch: Volume 2- The Descendants of Henry and Francis "Fanny" (Simpkins) Bishop
This volume concentrates on Henry Bishop Sr., and his wife Francis "Fanny" Simpkins Bishop, and their many descendants. Henry was the son of Hans Johannes Bischoff and Margaretha Overmeyer, and settled in the Floyd County Virginia area as a child with his parents. His family remained there, and many of his descendants are in that area to this day. The major sources for this volume have been Mrs. Joyce Buckert, of Illinois, she published the first and most well know volume about Henry and his descendants, and much of the information contained in this volume utilizes her information (with her permission) as well as quite a few updates that Ms. Buckert has been so kind as to provide. Of course, anyone researching the Descendants of Henry Bishop and Fanny Simpkins should absolutely refer to Ms. Buckert's original publication as well as utilizing this volume to supplement the research for any additional, later added, information.
History of the Family of Addington in the United States and England
Because William Addington was the writer’s great, great grandfather, it is of his descendants that much of the subject matter of this history and genealogy is about. Special space is given to his son, Charles Cromwell Addington, who lived to a late age, thus increasing the accessibility of information about this family—which, through two generations, children, and grandchildren, became connected by marriage with many large families. Equally interesting information is given about other branches of the family of Addington of both England and the United States. An index of more than 2,000 names has been added to the reprint of this publication.
The Chandler Family
Thomas Chandler (ca. 1762-1845/1846) moved from North Carolina to Wayne County, Virginia (later West Virginia) about 1806. He served with North Carolina troops during the Revolutionary War. Descendants and relatives lived in North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio and elsewhere.
