Henry Christian Mayer Letters to His Family
The letters concern Henry Christian Mayer's days at Harvard College from May of 1837 to Nov. 1837, his later travels to and residence in New York, and his illnesses. There is mention of his involvement in the disruptions at Harvard College during his years of attendance and also a letter from one of his school mates, concerning a bombing at Harvard in 1838.
