Mythenrezeption in der Lyrik von Gary Snyder
Gary Snyder, geprägt vom Lebensgefühl der beat poets, teilt das Interesse seiner frühen Weggefährten für außereuropäische Traditionen wie die des Buddhismus und der Native Americans. Die Verarbeitung von Mythen aus diesen Überlieferungen bildet ein zentrales Gestaltungsmittel in seinen Gedichten.
