Die Antiphonen des Wochenpsalters
Diese Studie ist ein Beitrag zur Erforschung des Stundengebetes aus theologischer sowie musikwissenschaftlicher Perspektive. Sie greift die Frage auf, inwieweit die im Wochenpsalter gesungenen Antiphonen des Offiziums einen Blick vor deren früheste Verschriftlichung im 9.-11. Jahrhundert gewähren. Lassen sich anhand ihrer Texte und Melodien Rückschlüsse auf die Genese der Psalmodie vor ihrer schriftlichen Fixierung formulieren? In welchen liturgischen Kontexten waren diese sogenannten Ferialantiphonen ursprünglich verankert? Die vorliegende Publikation nähert sich dieser spannenden Fragestellung von verschiedenen Seiten: in Verbindung mit der Struktur des Offiziums, der Herkunft der Texte, im Zusammenhang mit den musikalischen Mustern der Antiphonen sowie den dazugehörenden Psalmtonformeln.
