The Curse of the Gold City
The Gunsmith attends a lecture in San Francisco, given by an explorer who has a very good reputation. Afterward, he meets the man who is thrilled to meet the famous Gunsmith. He invites Clint to dinner, and over the meal asks the Gunsmith to accompany him on his next trip, which is to India to investigate the Curse of the Gold City which, he says, killed his father. Clint is instantly interested, and agrees. But over the course of the next few days, as he and the man prepare for their trip, several attempts are made on his life, and the life of the explorer.
