The universe continues to expand as he ventures into different sects to try and acquire more power. Less the world should overtake him if he fails. This series never ceases to amaze me. With its vast world-building and intricate characters, Jonathan Yuan stays goal-oriented regardless of what comes his way. He simply never changes and is not oblivious to his surroundings. That's what I love about him the most.
