Esta segunda edição do Panorama da Saúde: América Latina e Caribe 2023, preparada conjuntamente pela OCDE e o Banco Mundial, apresenta um conjunto de indicadores sobre estado de saúde, determinantes da saúde, recursos e utilização dos serviços de saúde, gastos e financiamento da saúde, qualidade da atenção à saúde, força de trabalho em saúde e envelhecimento da população em 33 países da América Latina e do Caribe. Cada um dos indicadores é apresentado em um formato de fácil utilização, consistindo de gráficos que ilustram as variações entre países e ao longo do tempo. Os indicadores também são acompanhados de breves análises descritivas destacando as principais conclusões associadas aos dados e quadros metodológicos contendo a definição dos indicadores e eventuais limitações na comparabilidade dos dados. Esta edição do Panorama da Saúde: América Latina e Caribe 2023 também inclui análises temáticas sobre dois tópicos de grande importância para a construção de sistemas de saúde mais resilientes: o impacto da pandemia da COVID-19 nos sistemas de saúde da América Latina e Caribe e os desafios das mudanças climáticas para a saúde.
The existence of World Literature depends on specific processes, institutions, and actors involved in the global circulation of literary works. The contributions of this volume aim to pay attention to these multiple material dimensions of Latin American 20th and 21st century literatures. From perspectives informed by materialism, sociology, book studies, and digital humanities, the articles of this volume analyze the role of publishing houses, politics of translation, mediators and gatekeepers, allowing insights into the processes that enable books to cross borders and to be transformed into globally circulating commodities. She led a calm life until C stulo, a young revolutionary chased by the authorities, finds shelter in her home. Matilde's eyes are opened to the social upheaval will lead her to break with her uncle and hide out with Diamantina Vicari. As the photographer discovers more details, he becomes convinced that he and Matilde should live together.
