General description of the collection: The Curtis J. Banker Papers include his completed Korean War Veterans Survey Questionnaire, personnel documents, a propaganda leaflet, certificate, and postcards. He says his United States (U.S.) Army training was the best available, but some of the equipment and clothing were inadequate. He says the M-39 Armored Personnel Carriers were bad on ice in Korea. He lists World War II (WWII) weapons and tanks, such as the M-4 and M26 tanks his company used, and says they worked well though obsolete.
