Christian Martin was born in about 1669 in Bern, Switzerland. He married Ells and they had five children. They emigrated in 1732 and settled in Weaverland, Pennsylvania. Descendants and relatives lived in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ontario and elsewhere.
