Moody River

I WAS PROMPTED TO COMPILE THIS BOOK AFTER HAVING EXHIBITED SOME OF THE PHOTOGRAPHS CONTAINED WITHIN ON SEVERAL OCCASSIONS. THE MOST COMMON COMMENT FROM LOCAL HOBARTIANS WAS I HAVE NEVER SEEN THE RIVER LOOKING LIKE THAT, THERE IS ONLY ONE RIVER IN HOBART, AND ALL THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE AS TAKEN WITH NO ENHANCEMENT WHATSOEVER. I TAKE THE PHOTOGRAPHS IN AN ATTEMPT TO CAPTURE THE MYRIAD COLOURS, LIGHTS, TEXTURES AND MOMENTS THAT ARE THE EVERCHANGING FACE OF THE RIVER. I PRESENT THEM HERE IN AN ATTEMPT TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO NOT JUST LOOK AT OR WALK THROUGH THE WORLD AROUND THEM, BUT TO TRULY SEE AND FEEL THE LITTLE THINGS THAT CAUSE US TO PAUSE OR SMILE, THE DEEPLY ENRICHING ENGAGEMENT WITH THE EVERYDAY FAMILIAR WORLD THAT MAKES OF THIS EXISTANCE A LIFE.
