Where does a man learn about loyalty, justice, faith, honor, sacrifice, commitment, pride, and the concept of family? When he was eleven, Digger Garcia's mom bought him a motorcycle, and his love affair with the road started. Digger was raised in Elkhart, Indiana living a seemingly normal life. He was an Eagle Scout, a Marine, serving two tours in Iraq, and he was a man who believed he would personify the American dream. But now as Digger nears forty, he sees that the American dream left him behind, leaving him in search of answers, in search of family, in search of love. Digger, the quintessential green double-zero on the roulette wheel, fitting in nowhere, keeping things off balance, moves to the Tampa area where he meets an old Vietnam veteran, Tommy (Solomon) Starke. Solomon is the founder of the iconic Demons Rising Motorcycle Club. Solomon introduces Digger to the outlaw motorcycle club world. - (See Back Cover for full description)

Rebellious Youth Motorcycle Club founder and President Charles "Chuck" Force constantly challenges John "Elf" Elfman's loyalty to the gang. In a struggle for power, they both search for secrets to destroy each other. For Chuck, motorcycle clubs are places where men go when they were lost as boys. He founded Rebellious Youth in 1968 when he was nineteen, and he now attempts to keep his club off the feds' radar. Elf's impulsive behavior, though, collides with Chuck's intention to remove Rebellious Youth from the line of fire. Elf's ol' lady Carol Dafranco is the daughter of a biker world icon, and she stands by his side despite his chaotic and spiteful ways. However, even she might walk when Elf becomes increasingly obsessed with anger and resentment. The fate of Rebellious Youth is in conflict as Chuck tries to decide if Elf is a psychopath or a misunderstood man haunted by ghosts of the past.

Welcome to Briersburg State Prison: a notorious and archaic prison whose reputation for violence and upheaval has its roots in the grand opening back in 1842. Augustovson (Dane) Erickson is a tough, no-nonsense prison guard who operates just beneath the ethics curve; Dane calls Briersburg home forty hours a week. It is there in D block where the life of Donny Quinn, one of Dane's fellow guards, is found dead on the bottom tier in what appears to be an accident or a suicide. Dane is dubious of both scenarios. Dane is also embroiled in a lustful affair with April Delgado, the wife of a prisoner in D block. That lust morphs into love when there is a Murder in D Block. The victim is April's husband, Raphael Delgado. All eyes are on Dane as the most likely suspect; this includes the brash F.B.I. agent, John Lafayette, whose interest in a routine, state matter is curious. Dane soon learns that the unusual death of Donny Quinn may be linked to the murder of April's husband. In a crime replete with strife, intrigue, misplaced motives, and mass arrogance, Dane finds more than he bargained for when that lust turned into love.

Meet Oscar Bakker. He was "almost a someone once." Oscar is referring to the fact that he left his economically depressed hometown of Rochester, New York for Hollywood in 1977 after dropping out of high school to pursue a dream. Oscar was on the verge of becoming a successful comedian and rubbing elbows with Hollywood elite. But his lust for cocaine, and his impulsive and self-centered behaviors derailed his boyhood aspirations and he traded Tinsel Town for rehabs and prison stints. Oscar's Hollywood days included a toxic presence disguised as love via the graceless and troublesome southern beauty, Annabelle Foster. Their decades long and never-ending relationship is replete with sporadic da...
