Ordering payment of £25 to Benjamin Woodbridge for maintenance of a missioner in the parish of Newberry.
Account and memoranda book of Thomas Belasyse, Earl of Fauconberg, for the period 1667-1699. This volume contains inventories, accounts and medical remedies written in several different hands, possibly those of Belasyse and his stewards Arthur Palmer and William Turner. Accounts and inventories document Belasyse's movements across Europe, to his diplomatic post in Venice, his activities as a landowner and the scale of his possessions and financial dealings. Inventories include listings of paintings by masters like Titian, Tintoretto and Giorgione being shipped to England, linens being shipped to Venice and the contents of his stables. Accounts list the names and amounts due from tenants as well as purchases and contracts with others.
