Excerpt from The Transactions of the East Riding Antiquarian Society, Vol. 4: For the Year Ending September, 1896 Now, if it can be Shown that various persons who held lands under Eddeva Pulcra in Cambridgeshire or elsewhere also held lands in Lincolnshire and York shire which were associated with the lands of the Eddeva of those counties, and were disposed of in the same way, this I think will be strong evidence that those persons were her sub-tenants in both cases, and therefore equally strong evidence that Eddeva Pulcra and Eddeva of Yorkshire and Lincolnshire were the same person.
