Polly and Ebenezer were two of the six children of Ebenezer Alden (1743-1773) and Ruth Fobes. They were born in Massachusetts. Polly married Nehemiah Jones and seetled in Massachusetts. Ebenezer (1770-1853) moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania and married Elizabeth Ames. They later moved to Cecil County, Maryland. Descendants lived chiefly in Massachusetts, New York, Maryland, and Pennsylvania.
