Including patents, original drawings and diagrams, advertising material and instructions on use of the "Gold-Pan-Batea", an improved Gold Pan leading to the formation of the California Gold Pan Company and its daughter company Household Utilities Manufacturing Company. Includes correspondence and business papers of mine holdings and interests in and around Calif., Ariz., Utah and Mexico. There are two diaries, one from a prospecting trip to Inyo County, Calif. in 1908-1909 and one in 1910 to Zero Mine in Ariz. There is an account describing to Ord, a trip in 1910 to a cave in Mexico searching for treasure left by Missionaries. Includes map of Bradshaw Fissure drawn by Ord.
