Introduction: Models for proton relative biological effectiveness (RBE) are commonly based on two functions, the RBEmax and RBEmin, describing the extreme RBE at low and high doses. While there is a consensus on increasing RBEmax with LET, the LET dependency of RBEmin varies between different models.
