Agnes Elizabeth Zimmer, daughter of George Edward Zimmer (1891-1969) and Dorothea Marie Poirier (1899-1968), was born in 1920 in Newport, Washington. She married Kingsley Charles Torgesen. They had five sons.

Peter John Zimmer, Sr. (1800-1871), son of Jean Pierre Zimmer (1749-1802) and Marie Catherine Muller (1762-1833), married Anna Elizabeth Bauer (Pbuer) (1800-1886). They had ten children. Peter's family was from Herbitzheim, France. They emigrated in 1843 and settled in New York. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in New York.
