George Spencer was born 7 October 1829 in West Hartford, Connecticut. His parents were Moses Roswell Spencer and Alma Flagg. He married Emily Brown Bush (1834-1906) 10 January 1851 in Burlington, Iowa. They had nine children. He married Mary Ann Payne (1841-1934) 5 December 1855 in Nephi, Utah. They had seven children. He married Sarah Marinda Thompson (1841-1914) 2 April 1858 in Washington, Utah. They had six children. George died 12 April 1872 in Glendale, Utah.

Tristram Dodge was born in about 1607 in England. He married Anne and they had seven children. They immigrated to Rhode Island in about 1660. He died in 1683 in Shoreham, Rhode Island. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Rhode Island New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Nova Scotia, Ohio, Illinois, Wisconsin. Michigan and Washington.
