Buku Ajar Public Relations ini disusun sebagai buku panduan komprehensif yang menjelajahi kompleksitas dan mendalamnya tentang ilmu public relations. Buku ini dapat digunakan oleh pendidik dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di bidang public relations dan diberbagai bidang Ilmu terkait lainnya. Selain itu, buku ini juga dapat digunakan sebagai panduan dan referensi mengajar mata kuliah public relations dan menyesuaikan dengan rencana pembelajaran semester tingkat perguruan tinggi masing-masing. Secara garis besar, buku ajar ini pembahasannya mulai dari pengantar public relations, tujuan, fungsi, kualifikasi dasar dan etika public relations. Selain itu, materi mengenai komunikasi internal dan eksternal public relations serta dasar-dasar manajemen public relations juga dibahas secara mendalam. Buku ajar ini disusun secara sistematis, ditulis dengan bahasa yang jelas dan mudah dipahami, dan dapat digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.
Sejatinya, buku ini dibuat tidak secara khusus untuk para pembuat film di lingkungan industri media televisi, tapi buku ini pun dimaksudkan bisa dinikmati oleh para penggiat film dokumenter dari kalangan non-industri media televisi. Karena itu, saya mencoba menuliskan pengetahuan tentang program dokumenter kali ini dengan agak berteori, sambil mengimbanginya dengan cerita-cerita dari lapangan yang lebih bernuansa praktisi. Dengan harapan, seluruh uraian tersebut bisa dinikmati oleh kalangan mana pun. Melengkapi seluruh paparan tersebut, saya mencoba menghadirkan contoh kasus produksi program dokumenter untuk industri media televisi, beserta naskah program dokumenter sebagai nyawa kreativitas dalam produksi program dokumenter.
Sistematika buku Ilmu Keperawatan Komunitas dan Keluarga ini mengacu pada pendekatan konsep teoritis dan contoh penerapan. Oleh karena itu diharapkan bunga rampai ini dapat menjawab tantangan dan persoalan dalam sistem pengajaran baik di perguruan tinggi dan sejenis lainnya.
