O conjunto de textos que agora se apresenta ao leitor resulta de um colóquio (O Literatic, I Congresso de Literatura Infantojuvenil e Novas Tecnologias, realizado no auditório do Parque de Exposições de Braga nos dias 7 e 8 de maio de 2011) que pretendeu pensar a tecnologia em contexto escolar e literário. O mesmo é dizer, analisar o modo como as novas linguagens e literacias digitais e tecnológicas interagem com as (e se incorporam nas) narrativas infantojuvenis. Mais especificamente: verificar a maneira como (e em que contextos) a literatura (privilegiadamente) destinada a crianças e jovens é capaz de dialogar com objetos tecnológicos, com consequências muito assinaláveis nos domínios da legibilidade e da arquitetura dos conteúdos lúdico-literários, sem esquecer esse aspeto crucial que consiste na renovação dos cenários e suportes de leitura.
