Prepared statements and testimony was given by John T. Topics discussed included: (1) services provided to low-income families; (2) use of Head Start and Chapter 1 services by Even Start programs; (3) Even Start services for migrant families; (4) parent involvement in education; and (5) the need to continue growth and expansion of the Even Start Program. Several specific Even Start projects are highlighted. (SM)
