These pieces were written in attempt to hold onto myself in a world where the black of night and the shine of the noon day's sun are always both in existence. No matter how long the dark, the light always arises. No matter the length of day, the night always comes. It's unstoppable, and therefore to be embraced and tried, anticipated or simply accepted. When my patience runs low or I ride the wave too high, I reach for my pen to release the quandaries and center my understanding of God's laws and human's reactions to them, for we all touch one another with our lives and choices. I hope in some way, these pieces of my heart touch yours and cause you to land someplace deep inside your own being where love always abounds and faces all things with victory.Thank YouFahredin Shehu
This collection of Poetry from across the Globe was spawned by a vision of Inner Child's World Healing, World Peace Poetry Contest 2012. Inner Child Press is sponsoring the publishing of the Anthology.
What inspires us? What is the source of our joy, peace, wisdom and happiness? No matter who we are, where we are from, our religious beliefs, or how we identify ourselves, there is one thing that unites us: our belief and relationship in a Higher Power. What we call this power is as varied as we are. Whether it is God, Jehovah, Allah, Yahweh and the like, it is our need for a spiritual foundation that connects us. Like a finely woven thread in an elaborate tapestry, we are united purely on that basis, creating a beautiful image of a kind of solidarity, if we take the time to recognize it. In this intimate collection of poems, you will see this in action, as poets from all walks of life, hailing from both the near and the far, have allowed us to peek inside the deepest parts of themselves. With beautiful prose and rhyme, you will enjoy both the diversity of expression, and the connection of our love of the Divine that sustains us all
The second annual Carcinogenic Poetry print anthology, featuring over 90 indie writers from around the world.
Multiword expressions (MWEs) are a challenge for both the natural language applications and the linguistic theory because they often defy the application of the machinery developed for free combinations where the default is that the meaning of an utterance can be predicted from its structure. There is a rich body of primarily descriptive work on MWEs for many European languages but comparative work is little. The volume brings together MWE experts to explore the benefits of a multilingual perspective on MWEs. The ten contributions in this volume look at MWEs in Bulgarian, English, French, German, Maori, Modern Greek, Romanian, Serbian, and Spanish. They discuss prominent issues in MWE research such as classification of MWEs, their formal grammatical modeling, and the description of individual MWE types from the point of view of different theoretical frameworks, such as Dependency Grammar, Generative Grammar, Head-driven Phrase Structure Grammar, Lexical Functional Grammar, Lexicon Grammar.
Who does not like to draw greeting letters from the box? And what about becoming the recipient of postcards with the message of love from all over the world ? The editors of the anthology ""Love Postcards"" did an impressive job - they gathered a lot of interesting poets and their poems. Let's look at the shades of this most powerful feeling, let's follow the poets and get to know their memories or desires. Let's find out - regardless of the cultures and languages, in which the poems are created - that our longings are similar. One hundred eighteen authors take part in this book. The anthology ""Love Postcards"" brings tender and gentle messages to the whole world. Agnieszka Herman
An exceptional collection of poems from our members. All of them were posted on our Facebook wall, many of them moved on and found their way into our hearts as well. Lucky the reader choosing to delve into this collection of literate beauty.
The winners of Aquillrelle's first Publishing Contest are all included in this book. Oh, the beauty of this child birthed by the marriage of professional and aspiring voices, each voice limited in its expression by nothing but personal talent, avidity of word and poetry of heart.
Identifying and explaining common views, ideas and traditions, this volume challenges the concept of Serbian-Albanian hostility by reinvestigating recent and historical events in the region. The contributors put forward critically oriented initiatives and alternatives to shed light on a range of relations and perspectives. The central aim of the book is to ‘figure out’ the problematic relations between Serbs and Albanians – that is, to comprehend its origins and the actors involved, and to find ways to resolve and deal with this enmity. Treating the hostility as a construct of a long-running discourse about the Serbian or Albanian ‘Other’, scholars and intellectuals from Serbia, Ko...
Bu kitap, savaş ve edebiyat arasındaki ilişkiyi, Birinci Dünya Savaşı’na odaklanmakla birlikte edebiyatın tema edindiği diğer bazı savaşları da mercek altına alarak farklı edebî gelenekler, diller ve bakış açılarının perspektifinden ele alan metinlerden oluşmaktadır. İlk yazının yazarı olan M. F. Aramacı çalışmasında ikinci kuşak Rus simgecilerin en önemli temsilcisi konumundaki Aleksandr Blok’un sanat anlayışına dair değerlendirmelerde bulunurken sanatçının XX. yüzyılın başlarında Rusya’da yaşanan tarihsel olayların simgesel bir anlatımla yansımasını bulduğu “İlahi Adalet” ve “Meçhul Kadın” adlı şiirlerine yönelik çö...
