On to the Pole is the autobiography of Francis Marion Gibbons, attorney, LDS Church leader and writer. Born in 1921 in Arizona, Gibbons served as secretary to the first Presidency and a member of the First Quorum of Seventy.

Cashbooks recording daily expendituresof Francis M. O'Brien. Consists of 13 v., covering the years Apr. 1938-Dec. 1947, during which time O'Brien was antiquarian bookseller in Northampton, Mass., and later in Portland. Also includes loose items such as newspaper clippings and invoices.
Balfour Letter
Collection consists of one undated letter of Francis M. Balfour written from Trinity College, Cambridge University. Most likely the letter was written to Johns Hopkins professor of Biology, Henry Newell Martin. Balfour wrote of a proposed memorial to Charles Darwin and an endowment for a professorship of physiology at Trinity.
