The collection includes Stuart's personal and professional correspondence, including correspondence (and reviews) relating to her published works and broadcasts for the BBC, as well as drafts and notes for various unpublished works, most notably her autobiographical work 'The Minister's Wife', and other miscellaneous papers. Correspondence relating to the Unitarian Church is also present. Stuart's correspondents included Swedish novelist Tora Dahl and travel writer Freya Stark. One copy of each of Stuart's main published works is included in the collection.
