The Art of the Classic Sports Car

The most fun you can have on four wheels. Sports cars are the athletes of the automotive world. Always nimble and quick, often powerful, sports cars fly where other cars lumber, and dash where others plod. The definition of a sports car is somewhat fluid, and the question What was the first sports car? will often incite a heated debate among enthusiasts. Still, most car fans feel that they know a sports car when they see one and when asked to name a few will rattle off a remarkably similar list of name plates: Jaguar, Corvette, Triumph, MG, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lotus, Alfa-Romeo, BMW. Pressed harder, more exotic and obscure brands will emerge: DB, Alpine, Bugatti, Lancia. Sports cars have ...

Grace, Gaia, and The End of Days

From the best-selling author of The Art of Redemption In this book, Stuart Wilde gives you the keys to levels of metaphysical comprehension and sophistication not normally understood. Stuart says that we are in the Kali Yuga, the Age of Destruction, when the self-correcting intelligence of the planet (Gaia) will take back Earth on behalf of the animals, nature, and the little children. He says there are battles currently raging in the spiritual worlds between the forces of light and the ghouls (dark entities) in order to free us all. He describes a power he calls the Solar Logos, which he says comes to Earth to deliver a rebirth he calls the Renewal. As such, he calls this time the "End of Days"—not because the world will end, but because it is the end of the world as we know it.

Sex and Citizenship

First published in 1941, Sex and Citizenship encourages people to think constructively about our moral problems. The author argues that sexual relationships have in the past been largely based upon self-interest. We have yet to try a moral code based upon trust, equality, and love, backed by knowledge and reason. The book discusses themes such as moral problem; religion and science; friendship; principles of sex relationships; marriage, parents and children; marriage preparation; and the future. The philosophy and theology of this book are those of a practicing doctor who is in daily contact with these problems. This book is not intended as a theological treatise and is an important historical reference for scholars of sociology.

Grace Ibingira seeks the fundamental causes of the widespread upheavals (at least thirty-eight army coups in the past fifteen years) in African states today and finds them in the inadequate colonial preparation of African leaders for the responsibilities of independence, the earlier practices of "divide and raie, and the "winner-take-all policies o
