Australia is a large land mass, with a diversity of climate, landscape and people. This book tells of an African traveler's experience on a trip from Perth in Western Australia to the Red Centre, Uluru in the Northern Territory. The book discusses the places visited, the different people met, the challenge of culture, the amazing views and the experiences had during the trip. It discusses the sights and sounds encountered in crossing the Nullabor into South Australia, navigating through the arid terrain of the Great Victoria Desert, the scenery in the Northern Territory and the long trip back to Perth through the Great Central Road. It is the Australian story as seen with African eyes and told by an African. While there are many travelogue out there, none presents the Australian experience from an African perspective. The narratives provide parallel and contrasting experiences from Africa to the things seen, heard and experienced during the trip.
